Now, on a slightly lighter note. We now have our first evidence of an apoplectic left wing celebrity engaging in a rant against the entire State of Alaska. Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs (aka. "Puff Daddy", "P. Diddy") has released a profanity laced video in which he attacks Palin, stating that Palin is unqualified simply because she is from Alaska. He asserts that Alaska is different than the rest of the country due to a total lack of "black people", crime, and "crackheads". Apparently, he has seen one too many reruns of "Northern Exposure". His screed is not only ill-informed, but also bigoted and mean-spirited. He owes the people of Alaska an apology, specifically the state's black community, which does in fact exist. I will be placing a call shortly to the Anchorage chapter of the NAACP to see if I can get any reaction (or perhaps get them to extend an invitation to Diddy to visit Alaska and apologize).
